So its the morning of Tuesday the 5th and i’m taking a shower at 10-something AM for my 11AM class.
Well right as the frothy soap suds of my shampoo start to get nice and big on my head I hear this weird siren sound coming from the hallway.
At first I’m like.. ok, weird noises again… but it didn’t stop, and now i’m like.. oh shit. what the hell is that? The shampoo is still in my hair but I step out of the shower to see the fire alarm light in the bathroom flashing in my eyes telling me, “Haha you’re fucked now!”. I step towards the door and look outside into the hallway to see everyone rushing outside! Oh fuck! I’m fucking naked! and wet.
I’m so embarassed I can’t just rush outside naked! I dont even want to leave the bathroom. why?! Why does someone have to start a fire when I’m taking a shower?!
i wait till most are gone then rush back to my room. only one person sees me and giggles. i look out side room window and its snowing!!! i’m trying to dry myself so i can put my clothes on all the while the loud siren of the fire alarm makes it much more uncomfortable.
I think, damn if there really is a fire and I die, it will be because I spent too much time trying to dry my…well you know. Newspapers will say “Naked student dies in fire”. Damn what a terrible thought.
So I get dressed quickly and besides the alarm I can’t hear anyone else around.
I had class in 15 minutes so I took the time to put all of the books for that class in my backpack, because I was assuming the building wasn’t burning down.
Then I walk calmly down the stairs and outside to see everyone else waiting. And so yeah. Turns out there was no fire.
My hair was still wet, though.
