Beer for Brains

I know what you’re thinking, “another persian?”
Well before you get all excited, I better get this thing going on the right foot.

My name is Jeff Koch. “Koch?! That’s obscene!” To the untrained eye, yes. But I will have you know that my name is actually pronounced… “cook,” like the islands- or, more uncommonly, the man in the kitchen. So if you are still having difficulty with it, ask; I’ll be sure to redirect you to the top of the paragraph. As I was saying, my name is Jeff Koch, I’m not persian, and I live in Orange County, California.

I hate being the new guy in things. Don’t you? It feels like losing your virginity every time you do something. You know the feeling I mean (did i do that right? is that going to mess everything up? This hurts… etc.) So, that’s how I feel jumping into this already booming site with its even booming-er reputation. I’m excited to be writing here nonetheless. And I’m sure you all want to know more about me… so, keep reading.

I’m just like the other two guys, except for the fact that I have recently withdrawn from college to pursue acting full time. So nothing really changed since I was in college, I still don’t have any money, and I don’t feel like I’m learning anything.

My background is mainly in acting and comedy. I have performed at the Improv on Tuesday night funnies and in countless ComedySportz matches. I have written and performed on a sketch comedy television show and acted dramatically and comedically in a large number of shows. I am a hopeful for this years Saturday Night Live cast and audition this July if all goes well.

So, without getting too personal, those are my qualifications. That’s who I am. And expect some great stuff from me in the near future. This is the most serious I will ever be. I promise.
